I’m excited to share that I was painting watercolours live at this choral music event in Barcelona. This opportunity came about through a dear friend who sings in the choir and I’m really happy they asked me to add my artistic touch to accompany their magical sound.
For this performance, I created abstract watercolours that responded directly to their songs. I’ve been dreaming of collaborating with classical music and this felt like the perfect match.
I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about the technical setup since I wasn’t in charge of it but I prepared by talking with the technician to make sure my workspace was just right. It’s all part of ensuring I could deliver the experience I’ve envisioned.
The event was a unique blend of music and art. It was an uplifting evening filled with creativity, inspiration and soul-stirring harmony.

Words from the director Lucia Beresova
The ResonArt Vocal Ensemble offered Earth, a concert dedicated to the elements of nature: water, earth, air and focus. The choral music was combined with the live art of the painter Emma Plunkett, who created works inspired by flux and the energy of the concert.
A unique experience that celebrates the connection between art and nature, inviting us to reflect on the beauty and fragility of our planet.
