One Day, One Incredible Art Adventure
Here are the photos from the 17th edition of Collaboration Station, a vibrant group exhibition hosted at the ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture in Barcelona. This dynamic space was the perfect setting for an event that brought together more than 14 artists, musicians, DJ’s, performers, even a magician and stalls in a celebration of creativity, connection, and community.
A Shout-Out to Abi-Fantastic
The one-day show was devised and flawlessly executed by the inimitable Abi-fantastic – and yes, she absolutely lives up to her name. The event ran like clockwork, with a joyful, spontaneous energy that filled the space from start to finish. It was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned, from the curation of the work to the smooth transitions between performances and installations.
VJ Miss Plunkett, Back in Action
It was such a thrill to be back behind the visuals again! My husband and I set up the projector and let loose with some playful loops that brought another layer of surreal energy to the space. After a few years away from VJing – due to life, a city move, and, well, the world turning upside down – it felt deeply satisfying to be creating live visuals in a collaborative setting again. The feedback was electric, and it reminded me just how much I love this art form.
Artists, Art Lovers & Instagram Magic
One of the best parts of the day was connecting with so many fellow artists and curious visitors. It’s so much easier these days to share our portfolios and keep in touch, thanks to Instagram. I had brilliant conversations with painters, sculptors, dancers, and digital artists — all bringing something unique to the table. There was a real sense of mutual appreciation and excitement in the air, the kind that only happens when people from different disciplines come together and spark off each other.
A Welcoming Creative Space
A massive thanks to the team at ESPRONCEDA — the staff were warm, professional and incredibly accommodating. Hosting over 14 artists (plus performances and projections) in one space isn’t a small feat, but the venue handled it with ease and style. It’s an inspiring place to show work and be part of something fresh, fluid, and collaborative.
Let the Photos Do the Talking
