A vibrant celebration of creativity

The 18th edition of Collaboration Station in Barcelona was – full of colour, playfulness and that unmistakable Barcelona art-scene energy. I had the joy of VJing throughout the day with my new visuals and tech setup – everything flowed beautifully (yes, no tech disasters!). In preparation for the event I even created a long background mix so I could pause mixing now and then to talk with people.

The artists were all so friendly and open – it really felt like being among kindred spirits. DJ Mimsy played a gorgeous, chilled set, and we’re already talking about collaborating again. I also chatted with a lovely gallery owner who’s interested in stocking some of my art.

Photos from the event

I’ve put together a few photos – showcasing the vibe, my visuals, the art and a bit of the magic. Have a look and feel the love.

Trash and Glow

I sold a slug sculpture and swapped another for a fabulously bonkers pink tiara (very me!) made by Donia, a costume designer – see more of her work here: https://www.instagram.com/trashandglow/

Abi Fantastic

A special thanks to Abi Fantastic for organising and offering me extra wall space last minute – I brought more paintings on Saturday and, for the first time, saw how they really connect with my sculptures. People noticed too, which was encouraging and affirming. Follow: https://www.instagram.com/collaborationstationart/

Let me know what you think – and thank you, as always, for your support

For me, events like this are more about the love of life than money. But they’re also powerful for visibility, connection and sharing what we each uniquely bring to the world.
