This is a review of The Colours of Hope exhibition, on the 13th December at Shimmy Gallery Barcelona – an art and music event organised by singer and performer Lady Ems, in aid of Palestinian families.

The Shimmy Gallery, Barcelona

We had a great time, as usual at the Shimmy gallery, meeting some dedicated artists, art lovers and some very effective activists. Lady Ems was singing, there were Dj’s, clothes stalls, some extremely neat crochet work and an informative photographic exhibition comparing our everyday life with those of the Palestinians. I connected with new friends, sold some art and the gallery decided to keep all the extra sculptures I brought along, to continue selling them over Christmas. So I was really chuffed!

Exhibition photos

Here’s a selection of photos of Emma Plunkett’s stoneware sculptures that are on exhibition at the Shimmy gallery, Barcelona.
