Description

This new stoneware sculpture, fresh out of the kiln, is about laying about when it’s too hot. It’s a reflection of how I feel in this heat – my brain switches off and I become lethargic. Sometimes I think I must have an underlying condition, because I find it impossible to function above 30°C, and yet the moment I put the A/C on, I’m fine again. I don’t fight it. But guilt-free resting? That’s the real challenge.

This a wall hanging sculpture that is made of vitrified clay and is happy to hang indoors or outside on your garden wall.
