She’s a dare devil who doesn’t need permission. Written in the background are the words that describe what the model is like in real life, mixed with a bit of surrealist adventure. I imagined this painting before I painted it, that she would be lying on a bed reading and the words would be floating all around her. I still might get round to painting this piece in oils.
