Art in Motion at Shimmy Gallery — November 8th

I’m excited to invite you to my next event at Shimmy Gallery in Barcelona, on Saturday November 8th, from 16h until late. In amongst all the other exhibiting artists, I will be showing my usual vibrant mix of video art, sculpture and painting – all coming together in one cosy gallery space with seating.

For this show, I’ve been creating new video art, sculptures and I will be hanging a selection of older paintings. One of the unifying element is the Monstera Leaf – its shape moves through all three mediums, connecting them in a visual dialogue about embracing nature, the feminine form and beauty for beauty’s sake.

Expect an atmosphere somewhere between a daytime festival and a private arty party – relaxed, social and full of creative energy. I’ll be VJing live, so the visuals will evolve throughout the event, responding to the music and the mood of the space.
