Collaboration Station at The Shimmy, Barcelona

Where: Shimmy Gallery, C/ Parlament 47, 08015 Barcelona
When: Saturday, March 14th, from 14h until late
Entry: 10€
What: Collaboration Station is a platform for art, music and creativity – orchestrated by Abi Fantastic!

For this edition I’ll be contributing a brand new sculptural installation and video art projections, weaving moving image into a live improvisational set with artist/performer/DJ Collage Marianna Magurudumian-O’Reilly. What I love about these events is how they blur boundaries: music, movement, performance, visuals – all of it feeding each other in real time. Nothing is fixed; everything evolves.

As always, Collaboration Station isn’t about polished solos. It’s about risk, play and the surprise that happens when people open up space for each other. I’m excited to see what emerges when performers move in front of the projection screen and into the mix with video art, musicians and artwork.

If you’re in Barcelona, bring your curiosity. You never know what creative thread might catch your interest next.
